Top Nigerian Academy to compete in 2013 Open Cup in the Under 19 Boys Division.

Garden City Panthers FC from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria will be challenging for the title at the 2013 Open Cup.  The competition in the U19 bracket will again be at an international class with last year’s FESA of El Salvador setting the bar with a victory on the final over CF Monterrey Rayados of Mexico.  The Nigerian academy will look to take the 2013 title on the trip to the United States. 

The Garden City Panthers FC is the to talent producer of Nigerian talent coming out of the Rivers State region of Nigeria.  The academy features all UEFA licensed trainers and staff regularly having players on trial in Europe.  This group will be looking to showcase their special talents to attending college coaches scouting for players.
